Sharla Jordan's love of musical theatre began when she was a little girl, watching the old classics with her family. Then often performing reenactments for days after. Creating the set, costumes, and props with items she could find around the house. Sharla received education and training in dance, voice, music and art throughout her youth and adult life.

She has been performing on stage since she was a young girl singing with her Dad, in youth performance groups, school orchestras/choirs, and in community theatre as an adult. She performed with acapella groups in college, and as an Alto soloist with the Mesa, Scottsdale, and West Jordan Symphonies.

Since moving to Kaysville, Utah she has been active in musical theatre performing as an actress, set design, costume maker, stage manager, and her favorite… prop master. You may be fooled into thinking some of her props are the real thing, until you hear what she actually used to create the piece. Her props have even been featured in film.

She shares the love of the arts with her husband and sons, performing often with them in musicals. She is thrilled to watch the growth and development in the many youth who participate in Showstoppers.
